Do not use Windex on a computer screen, either laptop or desktop. It contains ammonia, which will destroy the anti-relection coatings. On laptop (LCD) screens it can actually cloud the top layer.
The computer wipes may be expensive but they're cheaper than replacing your screen or monitor. You can also use distilled water to dampen a lint-free rag, then wipe gently. But this won't remove the greasy fingerprints. |
