Downloaded zip program to cd-r?

If I download programs like Ripvinyl and Depopper (for LP records to cd software)
can I burn them to a cd-r? If it is a zip file when I download it can I just burn the unzipped file to the cd?

I'm not quite sure what you are asking. You can burn any file to CDR as long as it isn't too large.
