My BIAB program won't make a sound. It's functioning, and the chords are moving by, etc, but, no audio.
I know all the other audio functions on my computer seem to be working fine, so it must be within biab. Is there a mute on this thing that I have accidentally activated ? I've looked for one, no luck so far.
Any suggestions appreciated.

[that'll teach ya to diss on Rod Stewart]

but....my audio difficulties with BIAB have always come up as midi related. I haven't used it in a long time and haven't gotten around to installing it on my current system so I can't be any more helpful than that but it always seemed to have something to do with the send or receive midi assignments.

Hmmm... curious... did it happen during playback of "Wake Up Maggie..."?

Just make sure that the Volume Control (Start/All programs/Accessories/Entertainment) in Win XP has no 'slider' set to zero or muted.

Mine sometimes seems to magically adjust itself for no reason.

Mike ! That was it ! Thanks man.

Jim, yeah, I don't know what happened, but all I did was ask it to play "Maggie" as a rhumba in 5/4 time, and there was this puff of smoke... I suspect the cocker spaniel across the street had something to do with it.
