I use my MP3 player at work every day. I use a bitrate of 56k so I can fit more songs on it. Is Windows Media better that MP3 for this application?

Anybody? Just wondering if I should go through the hassle of downloading Windows Media Player. Been using Musicmatch for a long time.

Michael, after skimming a few sites that address this topic, it seems that WMA is regarded as better for lower bitrates when compared to MP3. For some direct comparisons between the two, which allows you to judge based on your particular ears, just go to Google and enter "wma vs. mp3" in the search field. The ensuing sites should help you find your answer.
