MP3 Desktop Icons?

I have recently downloaded some MP3 music files. I save the files, but the icons stay on the Desktop. If I remove the icons the songs won't play on the Real Jukebox.

How can I remove the icons and still play the songs on the jukebox?

Roger-I put some of them in a folder on the desktop called "unused desktops", then when I want one, I clik on that and they are all there for the picking. Keeps the desktop a lot cleaner that way.....al
