... Internet Security I get another 366 days of free updates? I mean my hard drive crashes and I have to reinstall all my programs. It's not like i'm doing it on purpose. Don't they know the disk has been used already when "live update" engages?

You're complaining? There is a file, probably called "Catalog.LiveSubscribe" that is written on your hard drive when you install the program. This contains the info about when your subscription runs out. When you reformat the hard drive, this file and all other traces of the installation are deleted. This means you can reinstall and get another free subscription. .
