Every day I get these wierd files in my temp folder ie. EpqB293.exe, Fv1273.exe, 1b60C4.exe, Imp7261.exe,& Jm7381.exe
They are application files in the 85 to 94 KB range. I delete them and others show up. Any ideas on what they could be? My computer started freezing up when opening different programs and I was wondering if there was any relation. |

I always clear out my Temp folder with all .tmp files. These .exe fils may come from Internet use. Try copying them elsewhere and then delete them. See if it helps/hurts.
Also, delete your temporary internet files. I have had these cause problems, too. The "cookies" will go so you will have to log in on all your regular websites again.
Do you defrag(ment) your hard drive? After deleting all of these files, defrag your hard drive. I do it weekly. |
