Just announced...
This year's guest of honor John Ely of Asleep At The Wheel fame will hold a
non-pedal steel guitar seminar on Friday evening, October 4, 2002 at the Hawaiian Steel Guitar Association's (HSGA) convention
in Joliet, Illinois.
This Q & A seminar is free of charge for all convention attendees.
Here's your chance to ask John about tunings, picks, chords, repertoire, phrasing, Hawaiian vs. Western Swing technique etc. in a friendly, informal setting.

This year's HSGA convention will be held October 3-5, 2002 at the Holiday Inn Express in Joliet, Illinois (near Chicago).

For those unable to attend the conv this year it would be wonderful if someone would videotape the sessions and make them available to others for a price. It would be a real blessing. Chuck |
