Here's an easy way to detect and stop e-mail virus's.
Add a new e-mail address to your address book as "AAAAAA@nowwhere.net".
This will be the first entry in your address book so if a virus gets in and tries to send a message this is the first one it will try which will fail, thus warning you of its existance and stopping it from sending any more. |

This is an urban legend that circulates the 'net periodically. It does not work. As always, the only tru defense against a virus is a good anti-virus program with up-to-date definitions. |

The Klez virus going around has caused this legend. It spoofs a email address from your address book. The legend is that it spoofs the first email address in the list. However, that is not true, it spoofs any address.
