I'm transfering my LPs to CD and was wondering what the limit on how many tracks a cd player can read, using a .cda format on an 80 min cd?
Thanks

99 tracks max per CD.
I've done it, making a CD copy of my tape Doug J's "100 Hot Licks Nashville Style" for my personal use.
(I had to put Licks 99 & 100 on track 99)

Joe. Wayne and I have had the same experience. How many tracks you can put on depends on the size of the tracks. I recorded a cd of Faron Young songs and got 22 tracks. I recorded off Steel Radio and only got 17. I noticed some tracks were amost 3 min. while others were 4+min. My burner program tells me how much recording time I have left or how much over I am. |

Thanks folks!
Now I know I can pack it as tight as possible.
