DAVID PENNYBAKER - On 9/20/2000 you posted on the SG Forum, how to turn a MIDI FILE into a WAVE file and then burn it onto a CD via using the MS Volume Control (Options, select Properties etc.,) I followed your advice and tonight I burned three MIDI files onto a CD using NERO 5.5.
PROBLEM WAS: I could only record about 80 seconds of each file using the MS Recorder.
How can I increase the recording time.
The MIDI files are downloads from the Internet just do a search like, MIDICOUNTRY and you'll get half-a-dozen individual web sites that have hundreds of song files. I saved about 200 of these files and I play them back using the ROLAND VSC 88 (BIABSOUND MODUAL). I have also edited these MIDI songs in CAKEWALK taking out various instruments, changing key & tempo. They are great songs to be used as rhythm tracks.
DAVID - Thanks for that info post you posted back in 9/20/2000
PS - I'm very new to CD burning via the computer, it took me about 5 days (20-25 hours) to burn my first CD using NERO 5.5. It took me a very long time to get to know how this program works. It's not user friendly at all.
