My friend d'loaded a couple songs off napster and put them on a floppy disk. He then went to play them on another computer and they wouldn't play, because they were in an MPU format. He wants to put them in MP3 format, so he can play them through winamp. Well I really don't know how to do this. Could any of you guys help? Thanks in advance for your replys...

Adaptec V 4 automatically converts MP3 files to Wave files when burning a CD,if you tell it during startup you are making a music CD. If you want to keep it as a MP3 file make a data CD. All the Napster filies I have seen were all MP3. I am not familiar with MPU files.
