When I installed my new provider, I lost my address book. I was using Netscape before and am still on it.
Can I still find it somewhere in the memory of my PC?
Thanks for any help.

I use Internet Explorer which is, by the Microsoft connection, pretty well intertwined with Windows so I don't know if this applies to you or not, George, but try it--
Use the FIND feature---
START>>FIND>>FILE or FOLDERS----
type wab (Windows address book) and see what you turn up. When I do it I get quite a list. If you get something called wab.exe, click on it.
Let me know if this works. |

I'm not Netscape "literate" but I suspect your address book is still there. You may have to search around to find it or may have to import it back in, but it's probably still on the PC. |

George:
Go to the directory you have Netscape installed in and open it. Next go to the tab called Users. You may have had to set up a new profile when you changed servers. If so, click on your OLD profile and look for a file called "abook.nab". Copy and paste that file into your new profile, if you had to set one up. If you didn't have to set one up, do as Jon suggests, only the file you want to find is abook.nab

Thanks for the help. I was able to find most of the bookmarks and e-mail addresses. A few were missing, that could be I can't find the correct file, but none the less, it was very appreciated the help you all gave me.
Regards,
Geo
