Those of you who might not appreciate your computer
going directly to MSN or Netscape and all those ads,
might try the 'Home Page' I use. Very useful and quick.

This is one of the writers from PC Mag and well worth a try.

Or, use your very own home page. Many of us, who have
had computers awhile (21 yrs, in my case) do not put up
with all the junk that various programs and browsers try
to force upon us. You don't either, once the awe and
glamour wears off.

I have my ISP's personalized (my options) as my home page. I use it as they will periodically have announcements or info on the ISP service that I would miss if I logged on to someone else's home page.

You do have the option of not logging on to anyone's home page when you log on. All you will get is a blank browser screen which will then let you manually go to any web page you want.

Jack: Just try the suggestion , I posted, if you haven't already. As we both know, we can put anything on the screen, including pics of
aunt Maude, and the sound of a banjo roll. Some one here didn't like the forced show up
of various ads, etc.

PC Mag has a good site for the computer novice, which I recommend.

Ps; we are going back to St. Pete for the winter once again. next month.
