In my previous thread I described the problems with netscape. I deleted it as advised (or thought so). Now when I use IE, it is forced to Netcenter which is Netscape.
I don't want that blasted Netscape. Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Joe:
Try this. Right click on the IE icon on your desktop. In the box that opens, left click on properties. That should open a box called Internet Properties. In the "General" tab, look for the "Homepage" heading. In the box there, type http://www.yahoo.com and then go to the bottom and click OK.
IE should now open to Yahoo instead of Netcentre.

Or you could type www.b0b.com
Or you don't have to type at all. Go to the page you want as your home page, then I think it's Tools menu / Internet Options / General, then you can click to make the current page your home page.
Home page doesn't mean anything except that it is the first thing your browser looks for when you start running it. And it's where your browser goes when you click on a Home button. |

EB is absolutely right on this one, Joe. Homepage is a matter of preference. I used Yahoo as an example mainly because of the Search function on the page. That is why I use it for my homepage, but it is certainly a case of different strokes for different folks.
