Hey y'all,
soon I'll be sending off my old Peavey Session 400 for an electronic overhaul, and I've been playing with idea of having the cabinet and grill redone. I'd like to have the cabinet recovered with a faux tooled-leather tolex covering, and have the grill cloth done with some western motif graphic (maybe one of those retro/Vargas style pistol-packin'-cowgirls, a desert scene....I dunno, something cool). Who does this type of work? (Any one in southern California, perhaps?)
Thanks!

What John B. said. Fender never built cabinets as nice as Rick Johnson makes.
He can do custom colors too.

I agree with what other posters said; the speaker cabinets Rick Johnson made for me are as fine as wine , made in the USA too. |

Cliff theres a place in Tempe Arizona that handles all the old Tolex and amp coverings. Actually its a great source for hardware for old amps and guitars. I think its called Antique electronics supply. Here's the website.
