A buddy of mine has one; seems like it might make a good head for steel. It's got a mid-shift control, dual channel, 100+ watts. Any experiences with them, pro or con?

I used a Pearce G1.5 (later upgraded at the factory to a G1.7) for many years. I thought it sounded pretty good. I now use a Revelation Tube Preamp and er, uh, well, what more can I say? It's the total bomb. Anyone need a very nice sounding Pearce G1.7?

In a pinch, I loaned it to a bass player and he thought it was the best bass amp he ever heard even though it was a guitar head.
