I'm considering another small mixer, possibly a PV 8 or Yamaha MG 10/2 to run my CD player with back up tracks through. Any opinions on these or other small mixers? Thanks, George

I have used the Yamaha MG 10/2 for about a year now with my home studio. About $99 new and extremely low noise. The tone controls are very useful and it has a lot of gain available. I would buy another one in a hearbeat.

I've got a 6-channel Boss that I've had for 12 years that works great for that application. That's about all I use it for. Don't know the model, I'm not at home.

Thanks Greg and Mike. I have an old Behringer that actualy works OK but I just feel it's time for a bit of an up-grade. I've been eyeing that Yamaha for awhile now and the price is sure good. Thanks again, George

Small scale or mini-space rig? Try a Behringer MX602A.
