I've been using probably the most popular single coil and am really happy with the tone. So far I haven't noticed much hum either. What does seem to be lacking a bit is that pop or punch I was used to with a humbuker. That was on a different guitar though and I'm thinking of trying a 710 on this Sho-Bud. Any thoughts?
