I was wondering if this dual pup lap could be rewired using a blend pot like the S'master? I probably would have to make a new plate to hold it but questioned the possibility from an electronics point. http://cgi.ebay.com/Lap-Steel-Guitar-Bruno-Conqueror-60s-vintage_W0QQitemZ220008793678QQihZ012QQcategoryZ118994QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

thanks, Ron

I would imagine it could...but I'm no expert. I would at least but independent volume controls for each pickup...you'd get about the same effect with more possibil-ities...I would think!!!

I'm sure it will get pricey on the ol'Ebay.

Yes, as could any dual-pickup guitar.

It's true a dual pickup guitar could be wired into a 'Blend' pot. But doesn't the Deluxe/Stringmaster have RWRP pickups? This is what allows it to have 'hum-bucking' properties along with the pickup combination.

In other words, the two pickups form a set in a Fender - they are Reverse Wound Reverse Polarity in respect to each other.

If you assume that the ebay guitar does NOT have RWRP pickups, factor in the cost of having one of the pickups rewound (the polarity needs to be changed also; not too hard)
