I have a NV 400 Amp that has worked flawlessly for a number of years but now I can't get it to turn on. Is there a fuse somewhere in the amp that may be blown? Welcome your replies if you've had the same trouble. |

Nigel, There are three fuses in the Peavey
Nashville 400 amp.
They are all internal, so you must pull the chassis to get to them.
F1 and F2 are 1 amp, slo-blo in the 15 volt supply.
F3 is a 6 amp fuse located in the main power feed. There is also a thermal breaker, mounted on an output transistor and wired in series with F3. If either one is open it could prevent the amp from turning on.
In addition to the above, there is a triac
used in the power on circuit which would prevent turn on if defective.
Other components in the power on circuit are S2 which is your ON-OFF switch and a 22 ohm, half watt, flame proof resistor.
