I have a new NV112 that was only used at our recent show and when I got it home the volume knob had been broken off, I guess in the handling by someone. How difficult is it to change this control?

Not much different than other Peavey's, if I remember correctly (I just had the chassis out of my NV112). The pot is mounted (soldered) to the preamp circuit board, so all of the mounting nuts for all the controls will have to be removed, along with whatever mounting so you can get the preamp board in position to unsolder and solder in a new pot.

Your best bet is to order the pot from Peavey so you have the exact replacement. Peavey's replacement parts are very reasonable.

Doug, I sent you an e-mail that you might find helpful with this problem.
Anyone else with a Nashville 112 that would like to find out how to protect the knobs so this does not happen to your amp, send me an e-mail and I'll show ya what I'm talking about.

Thanks guys. I appreciate it. Normally I do my own loading and unloading and it's not a problem. I'm not sure how this happened, but someone picked it up and the next thing I knew was the knob was on the floor of my truck.
