EQ in effects chain

Currently in my effects chain for my TELE
I run: Tele> TU-2> Blues Driver> DS-1> PH-3>
Dan Echo> GE-7 EQ > to Fender Twin. For you guys who know a whole lot more about electronics ands effects in general, is there a better place in this chain for the EQ ? is there a better order of these effects in this chain?
sounds good to me but, always looking for a better way and to learn something new! Thanks

Hi Larry, if it were me I'd put the tuner then eq 1st in line then Blues Driver then DS-1. Dan Echo then PH-3. Actually I would take the tuner clear out of the mix some tuners have very cheap inputs and really mess the signal up.

My reasoning for this is I like the eq as close to the guitar that way you are sending the eq'ed signal to all the other effects and then the the with the dist's before the delay and phaser they won't be trying to delay and phase a distorted signal but some folks like it that way so it's mainly just taste.

Thanks for the input guys. Ill switch things around and check out the outcome.
I like to leave the tuner in line for quick touch-ups on stage where it can be hard to hear. Putting the EQ first in line makes sense though now that I think about it.

Hi Larry, the tuner suggestion may or may not be valid in your case anyway. I use to have a cheap korg tuner that sucked every bit of tone out of the signal as well as add noise but then later I got a little nicer korg tuner and tried it and it hardly changed it at all so it's a tuner by tuner deal anyway.
