This may be an answer that's obvious to most here on the forum, but here goes: How do you tell the difference between bridged and stereo mode? Because there's really no way to tell by the button on the back panel.

Stewart,
I checked my DPC 750 manual and this is what it says:

Bridge Mode Selector
This button is provided to choose between stereo operation and bridged mode (mono) operation. To select the bridge mode, the button should be in the "in" position.

I'm not sure what your question means.........do you mean that you can't tell what position the countersunk bridge/stereo button is in? Or do you mean audibly?

Both. Audible difference and can you tell by looking at the button on the back panel if it's bridged or stereo? Thanks!

If you are in "bridged" mode only the A channel input and output is used. If you have speakers attached to both A and B outputs only the A output should have signal, according to the manual. With the "Bananna Plug", the "A" Channel connection is the "hot" lead.

Thanks for the info...I bought the amp used, so I didn't get a manual with it. I wonder if Peavey has it on their website?
