wanted to see which are the better pick-ups looking for opinons on what you think are the best
i play a carter with George L's
thinking of trying the Bill Larwrence BL-710
let me know what you think, what pick-ups you have on your steel and why you like them?

I've heard a few Carter guitars with Jerry Wallace true tones in them and they sounded great.

Hi Gary, I have BL XR16's (which look exactly like a 710) in my Carter and they are really great ... a good full midrange and not too bright on the top end (more silky). The bottom end has good definition too so there is no mudiness! A very good pickup all round (I have them on both necks)
