i've got a new goodrich H10K volume pedal.
and 2 evans FET 500LV's with all brand new guitar monster cables. when i have one amp plug into the volume pedal it works fine. when i plug two amps in the volume pedal i get a hum with the pedal shut off. i tried reversing the switch position on the amps but nothing changes. unplug any input , ethier amp, hum go's away , plug both back in hum is back.

has anyone had this problem or know's how to fix it
thanks gary

Maybe a ground-loop hum?

If you're using two amps, maybe you need to lift the ground on one of them. I think you can do this by using one of those three-prong-to-two-prong plug adapters.

Don't know how safe this is. Maybe the electronics gurus will weigh in...
