Best pickup or mic for fiddle?

Can anyone give me some advice on some of the best ways you've found to get a fiddle set up for running through an amp?

What is better, pickup or bridge mic? what brands have worked best, etc?

I've been using one of these, with GREAT results. Never tried it through an amp though. I always just get a mic line and go straight in the P.A. Sound guys seem to be very happy with them as well. Here's their web e-dress> http://www.riml.biz/index.html
