I have to connect a 12-5 George L's pickup at a 6 positions switch selector. Do you know the wiring plan?

Yes Crowbear,Thanks for your aid.
There are two coaxial cables coming out the PU. Each cable contains an external ground wrap (not connected to the selector) and three thin wires inside, one red one white and one black. These 6 wires are connected to a double circuit 6 position switch selector. From the selector, there is a simple regular coaxial cable connected to the jack output. I have asked George L's by mail for the wiring plan of this pickup and I'm waiting for the answer.(Curiously This PU is sold with a 5 position selector, as is mentionned on the products web page)

You're welcome, Patrick!

Hope it works well! You need to have a VERY close look at the back of the switch on the drawing, but it worked well for me.

Just let me know which position YOU think comes closest to a GeorgeL E66, OK?

Best
Peter

I prefer the sound with the selector button turned to left maximum (1st position). Its a big plain round sound wich offers all the possibilities for amp adjustments. This PU is a very good choice for Zum 12. Perhaps the position 2 gives the sound near of the E66? I had a S10 with a E66 and a sound I liked it too.
I have a 1995 Zum D10 with a True Tone On E9 and Zum on C6 but I think I have a better sound and NO hum with the George L's on the 1983 Zum S12 .
Thank you again for the drawing and your help I can begin the soldering now!...

best
Patrick
