Has anybody used this program that comes with Apples? Any comments on how it compares with Band in a Box would be appreciated. It looks like it does alot of things - is recording tracks one of them? Is it difficult?

I did a recording on it earlier this week.
A bass over dub.

It is a basic learn to do recording app. IF you are
very good and understand production, you can make solid music with it.

BIAB is completely different, it alows you to
create a midi backgreound for most any song
you know the chords too,
and do it very fast.

The you can output the midi file and import into anpother app like Garageband,
and use this file as a basis of a fuller production.
Or a practice backing track.
