I've been using the Podxt now for probably most of two years, gigging basically every weekend. I wouldn't be without it.
Question(s).
I have plans to get the 4 channel shortboard switch, which basically lets you choose through 4 channels remotely. O rarely if ever use more than 4 models on gigs, and it'd be nice to move the Pod completely out of "beer territory".
The Updated "Environment" including the 15" speaker model change the visual interface.
The 4 buttons no longer switch between 4 channels, but are marked Manual, Amp, Gate, and EQ. The channel knob now switches between channels one at a time rather than 4, if I remember right.
Does the 4 channel switch work with this new operating environment?
One more.
As I get a Pod xt Pro rackmount, is the visual interface and cab/speaker models the same as the stock Pod xt model set, and you need to download like I have with the xt?
Thanks for any answers. I will be getting a Pro rackmount as finances permit, and will like the XLR outs, and the boostability of the USB signal. As well as getting it off the floor. I have the same concerns about the 4 channel switch with the upgraded "OS" though.

Eric, there is also a 2 button switch which just scrolls through the four channels in a bank. I have it, and it works fine. Just a thought in case you were trying to conserve floor space.
Don't know anything about the 4ch board, maybe someone on the TDPRI does? |

Eric, if you move your Pod out of beer territory, how do you tweek things like delay or verb? That's what I like about using Pod is the front panel control access. |

Guess the board was down yesterday.
I'm heading out to see what kind of deal GC will make on a package. They're limited to SRP, but I think they'll throw some stuff in..
Ben. I was just wondering if the FBV2 worked with the new firmware version that changes the function of the channel buttons.
CS.
It'd be within reach on my amp. Just easier to switch during songs like Night Life, etc. Also the chords to the amps wouldn't be strung out nor the power supply chords etc.
We'll see.
