I just picked up one of these preamps. My pickups are GL E-66's. I'm interested in settings that are being used by fellow forumites. I'm going into a Mosvalve 500.

Second request, is the reverb good, or not so good? I have an effects processor that can be incorporated into the scheme; Lexicon MPX 110. I was hoping that the reverb would be GOOD and I could get away from the processor (I really only use the plate reverb setting).

Any tips would be welcomed. I've already done a search in the archives. BTW, I use two JBL E-130's.

Thanks and Merry Christmas!

Tim-

I'm not sure how the MosValve will sound, I need to get one myself. Right now I'm playing through the power section and speaker of my NV400. Plus, I need to replace the tubes. Personally, I like the spring reverb in the preamp, and I'm running a Line6 DL-4 Delay Modeler set on a very small amount of analog delay with the Mesa's spring reverb set on 5.

I'd sit down and start turning knobs until you like the sound you're getting. So far I'm really happy with the sounds I've gotten.
