Buddy Charlton 1965 (according to Donnie Hinson), or 1967 (according to allmusic.com), played thru what amp on ET's "Waltz Across Texas"?

Most likely a Standel, at least that's what Leon and Buddy were using in the many pictures I've seen.

If its the solid state one I might own it. Buddy said it was his main amp with ET but I didn't ask what years.

According to Wanda at Billy Cooper's music, Buddy says it was a Sho-Bud amp but doesn't know what model. He's not familiar with the term "Christmas tree" amp, but it was an early sho-bud.

Hey, Dean!

The "Christmas Tree" amp, correctly named the Dual Channel Amplifier, didn't arrive on the scene until 1971 or so. Most probably Buddy used a Compactra.
