Tubefex owners take a look at this!

Just got this shot from a member of the Yahoo Groups, Tubefex Forum.
This is a picture of the typical damage to a Tubefex from battery leakage, click on the picture to enlarge:

They seem to get the worst of it, as the battery end is so near a voltage rail! Only slight leakage is needed for this to occur.

Bottom line, check and clean the battery before you get this problem (blown components and lots of smoke).
