I know the subject of powered headphones has come up before, but I wasn't paying much attention. What is a decent make powered headphone that goes for, say, $40ish-$70ish, and where are they available? Do the big music retailers carry any? Thanks.

Rick,

you might try picking up a practice amp with an earphone outlet. This might give you a little better control of tone, volume, reverb, etc. I picked up a Peavey Backstage Plus for this and it works very well. Also a great living room amp.
