Hoping someone has a schematic for a Sho~Bud Xmas Tree amp they could email me. I'm at "catlady15@sympatico.ca" .
Amp has very low volume, speaker is good, and power section seems ok, must be the preamp. I don't know what signal voltages to look for coming out of the preamp, but there isn't much gain. When I inject a signal into the power amp input, I get nice clean power output on the scope, but the power amp section seems to need a lot of drive voltage. Perhaps this is normal?
I'm in unfamiliar territory here, more comfortable with tube equipment.
Thanks for any help...Jerry

Hi Jerry. I own two Christmas tree amps and have tthe same problem. They lose power but still seem clean. I have a local tech who repairs them each time. Does'nt seem to be a big deal for him, altho I don't really know what He does each time. Never-the-less, contact Bobbe Seymour, His tech has copies of the schematic. Let me know if you can't find one, I'll try to get one from my tech. Good Luck. Lonnie P.
