question for ken fox

my tubefex is pretty noisey(hum,buzz).idoesn,t have the battery eliminator in it.would this help the problem?

Not at all. All the chip does is hold the user settings without the need for a battery. Is this a recent problem? If so, I would send it to Peavey as I do not repair the units, just limited to what I have posted on the Forum!

Is it AC hum? If so try to lift the groound on the Tubefex with a two-wire AC adpator. If that solves it buy a Hum-X by Ebtech to safely ground the unit while eliminating the "ground loop hum".
