What's the best way to connect a Transtubefex to a Walker stereo combo amp.Of course I only want to use the effects from the Transtubefex not the pre-amp. I'm probably the only guy using this set-up. However I would think this hook-up would be the same as a Profex II. Thanks in advance...............bb

Bobby,

Can you disable the preamp section like on the Roland GP-100? Then you could put it in the loop of the Walker?

Kinda, I just couldn't remember how to loop. I have it going. Not sure it's the best way though. But it's the only way I could get it to work..........bb

Bobby,

The easiest way to do this is to take the sends from the Stereo Steel into the Tubefex and the returns from the Tubefex back to the Stereo Steel. Then just use the effect to dial in how much effect you want.

Make sure that you don't use the preamp part of the Tubefex...too much gain and you don't really need it with the Walker Setup.

Regards,

Mark T.
