Recently got my hands on an IVL Steelrider with 2 10 string pickups, but I have no manual for it. Would some kind soul please find it in their heart to either scan the manual to PDF and email it to me, or photocoopy it for me. I'd gladly cover whatever the costs may be. I'm really at a loss, and I want to get this thing going on my Stringmaster ASAP. Thanks for any help.

sorry to hear that I had one back when they first came out and suffered through sending it back to Canada 3 times each time taking 3 months to return.
Never got it working again .;. I eventualy gave it to the garbage man one day in a fit of rage. I can only say that IVL and some of its relitives are still around
and you can get that info but do you want the
continued agrivation of a system that may never work the way you think it might. My experiance may differ from other users.
Good luck.

Dan,
I have been playing a Steel Rider for about 17 years. I have two 12 string units. They are marvelous pieces of electronic equipment. I have an original manual. However, if you are looking for help from the manual you will be disappointed. I will be glad to copy it and send it to you but it doesn't tell you much and leaves you confused.
If I can answer any of your questions, email me at mbrewer@direcway.com and I will try to answer them for you. |

Thanks everyone for responding, and especially Jim the for the manual scan... I agree the manual isn't quite as helpful as I would want, and I know it ain't gonna be easy getting this to work in a useful manner, but every little bit helps...
