A friend of mine just aquired 2 lapsteels and a Randall Commando 1 Model RG90A-115 amp. The steels are :
1. Stringtone (A.Rowe Industries) 6-string
2. Bronson Melody King 6-string.
One of them has some sort of levers to change the 2nd, 3rd and 5th string. Has anyone heard of these instruments?

The Stringtone tuning bridge was manufactured by Rowe Industries and allowed a player to have up to three different tunings just by flipping a switch.
Bronson lap steels were mostly made by Magnatone, although some were made by Rickenbacker and Valco.
