Hi. I just purchased my first Webb and have a question as to speaker compatibility. The back of the amp states 225 watts output at 4 ohms. The 2 speaker out jacks have written between them 2, 4, and 8, ohms. I'm sure any Webb owner can answer this. Does this amp have a circuit that changes to where it puts out the same 225 watts at whatever ohm load??
Thanks for any enlightenment that you can provide me on this. I have a JBL K 130, 8 ohm speaker that I was planning on installing.
Thanks

If you install an 8 ohm speaker in the Webb,
it will put out approximately 160 watts rms.
You won't notice any difference in volume, but
it will break up a little sooner when you
really crank the amp way up. |

Thanks Jay for your help.
I also sent you an e mail concerning the above but with a little more detail.
Thanks again
