Please List Your NV112 Settings.
If you are using two N112's and any effects,
how are you connecting them.

Thanks
Glenn

Glenn, I set mine pretty much like the C6 settings in the manual. The settings need to be changed a bit depending on the room acoustics and size of crowd. Lots of people soak up the highs.
The effects will work good in the pre-eq or post-eq loop. I have a good sound by connecting guitar to hilton pedal and pedal-out to amp input. You can connect the guitar to the amp-in and put the pedal in the pre-eq loop but it requires more cords.

Bass + 3
mid - 2 at 800
treb + 3.5
Pres +4

pre 4.5
Master .. depends on room
I also use a digitech 2101 studio tube pre amp
in the effects loop and tweek my tones per patch.
The effects sometimes alter how the steel sounds
so additonal EQ is needed.

Glen,

Out of the guitar and into an RV-3 W/wall wart, out of the RV-3 and into a Goodrich L-120, out of the L-120 front and rear outs and into the high gain's of both amps.

George L's cables!
Ground lifters on both amp cords!

Amps plugged into a single power strip.

Amps are quieter than a mouse pissing on cotton.

Low +6
Mid -4
Shift 800
Highs +3
Pres. +4
Master 5
Pre 3

Gere,

I forget who I mooched those settings from, it was someone with a Carter like mine with the George "L"'s pickups.

I really like that RV-3!

John - I don't believe you should be lifting the ground on both amps. It could be very dangerous.

Lee,

You are right, I guess I shouldn't be dishing out suggestions like that. Under the right circumstances it could roast the player.

It was the only way I could quiet the amps down though, what with all the flourescent lights, dimmer switches, etc. around this place. I am very careful about how I use this setup.

I remember someone saying something about this, I think it was TW, he came up with a monster lick in his head while doing laps in the pool. He got out, ran into the house and got behind the steel in his wet trunks to try it....................
You know the rest, and I bet he was using a ground lifter.

Thanks for pointing that out.
