Garth, this speaker appears to compare closely to the M-151-8 series. It is less efficient than the E-130 (104dB @ 1W @1M compared to 105 for the E-130), which is still amazing. I don't have first-hand experience, but if like the other JBL products, it's probably pretty bright. Power handling is 200W RMS.
