What about the BehringerBass V-amp pro rack

instead of the Pod xt? would any of these two work similar to the pod xt? the V amp Pro is $169 and the modeling preamp is $99. these are sale prices Musicians Friend.
I think I heard someone say they had good results with the bass V amps.
