I've been reading about the line 6 POD 2.0
amp modeler, has anyone tried it, and with what results. It looks like it has delay, chorus, reverb. Can these be run together? I have an Intelefex online that is good but, am tryin to lighten up a bit.

Hey Bill. Yes these are great little units, but you would probably want to get the POD XT instead of the 2.0 More flexiblily for what we steelers do. Several folks here on the forum are using the POD XT with great success.

My very savvy retail friend "loaned" me a Pod 2.0 (he knows that he can always get some bucks out of me for just about any new toy) but there was no way to get a clean enough sound from it for my taste. Also, no matter what patch I tried there was always that nasty descending artifact when playing two or more notes ASCENDING (I hate it when that happens!). The story has a happy ending, though - a guitar playing friend came over to jam one day, found every sound he ever wanted (especially the VOX AC30 clone for Beatles tunes) and bought it on the spot, saved me the hassle of taking it back.

I haven't tried the XT but lots of forum folk seem to like it.

The problem I had witht he 2.0....I wanted to disable the amp modeling an just use the effects. Never could figure it out. the XT is much easier to use in this way.
