I'm using a sesion 500rd amp. To hook straight into the board on our PA, don't I
just plug into the "line-out" on the back
of my amp and go to the board? We tried that the other night at practice, and we couldn't get a sound. we just went ahead and miced my amp which sounded really good, but I just wanted to see what the difference in sound would be hooin up direct. Does that mean my "lineout" ain't workin, or do I have to have somethin like a direct box? I thought the "line-out" was on the amp to keep from having to use a direct box.

The XLR output on the Session 500 is determined by the POST GAIN control. If the POST GAIN is turned down, there will be no output signal.
