Speaking of Slack Key Guitar.......

I recently learned that here in NYC, there will be a Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar Festival on Feb. 11. It will feature Keola Beamer, George Kahumoku, and Ozzie Kotani. Since I'm not very familiar with who's who in Hawaiian music, I don't know if any of these musicians play steel guitar, electric or acoustic. I would love to attend if there is steel guitar. Help!......

Howard:

None of these guys plays steel. They play fingerpicked acoustic 6 and 12 string guitars. Worth hearing, but not steel guitar.
