I have an LA-400 that I put in an old Peavey Pacer cabinet and modified the speaker board for a 15". Some of the earlier Pacers had a different pattern for the screws that hold the chassis up, but the later ones are the same. In my opinion, this is a great amp for guitar or steel either. Or, you can build a custom cabinet like I did. This picture shows the old Pacer chassis, but I have since put a Special 130 chassis in it. This is another great amp as has been mentioned in other posts recently.
