I just bought one today. Brought it home and fooled with it till I could get it in the "slow speed audition" mode. It is a nice unit, but is very frustrating at times to use as it is not very user freindly. I would reccommend buying one if you wish to analyze fast licks and single note runs. At 50 % speed reduction, the sound is kind of choppy, but the notes are still discernible. The effects are cool. You can plug it in and play alond with the record and hear yourself through your headphones. 8 out of 10. Good value for what it is although not easy to use (at first) until you get used to it.
