Curious to know what are the best tone settings on the Nashville 400 amp for playing E9th?

Dick,
Go to the PV website and download the manual for the NV 400,it has a good starting point, and you can "tweak it" from there.

low,+12/15...mid,-6/10...shift,800...high+0/3...presence,+0/3
as per my NV400 book,hope this helps, Bill

Nashville 400 (without factory mod).
Low: +6
Mid: -3
Shift: 800Hz
Hi: +3
Presence: +3
Reverb: 0 (I use a digital reverb)
