If I unpluged the 4 10's and connected my 4ohm 1501 BW cab.Not to play a gig.But just for a little while to see how good it would sound. ..............bb

No problem. Even at gig levels you'd likely be ok but if you're not going to push it hard, no problem at all.

My son has been playing my old Black Face Super Reverb that was made into a head for the past 4 years with a 8 ohm celestion....and it's still tickin.

I just ordered an Impedence Matching Transformer, from Weber speaker company that will allow me to match the 8 ohm speaker to the 2 ohms that the Super would rather see.

The cost was $34 and change.
